...with the infamous one-year-only Chevy Vega steering wheel. :/

Isn’t that the same 4-spoke that Camaro used for most of the 70s?

Yes, the nice 3 spoke Vette wheel came in 78 I think.

Back then my friend got a brand new 76 L48 silver with red. I like that teal better.

I’ve seen the three spoke on chrome bumper C3s but I don’t know if that was stock or not. I know I’d like to get a black four spoke for my 71 Camaro but they are stupid expensive. It’s like $300-$400 even for a damn reproduction. For that price I’ll stick to my boring two spoke wheel.

I thought the inside of my Eagle was too brown... I’ve decided it’s fine vs the amount of this teal.

Wait, that’s what they cost? I swear I have one sitting on a shelf somewhere.

That’s what a new repro goes for, anyway. I haven’t looked at eBay to see what the going rate for a good used one is as that has been pretty far down my to-do list.

C3 Corvettes (1968-1982) always had 3-spoke steering wheels, with the one-year-only exception of 1976 (the aforementioned “Vega” wheel). The steering wheels from 68-75 were a larger diameter and thinner than the 77-82 wheels, I believe. And yes, it does appear the 76 Corvette wheel was the same one in the Camaro.
